I often times would peruse through the message boards to see if he was on, if not I would log off. He made Slope a great place to visit. Last night he posted a flaming blow the house down post on Slope and was subsequently band. He knew that he would before he even posted. But even though it was vicious, there was a foundation for it.
His argument was for fairness for all, a set of rules for all to follow; not one for one clique and one for another clique.
His flaming did not end there. He took it up the ladder to Tim Knight, founder and contributor to SOH. It again broke the boundaries of any flaming or torching I had ever done in my life. I have a lot to learn from Buddha on this! lol. Again he pointed out the hypocrisy that was plaguing the once fantastic site.
To my surprise and to his. Tim did not retort with same anger or verve, but was calm and collected, like he is in his excellent videos.
Buddha, taken aback, responded in kind, and I hope a dialogue has begun which will fix the ills of the site and allow the likes of me, Buddha and others to come back and have the kind of fun we once had there. If not, so be it, after all we all had a life before it.
